Volunteer Application

Please note: Our current top need is for Saturdays for food rescue + processing, and van drivers. For other days of the week, please visit our sign-up genius.

Volunteering Overview

Volunteer Hours:

Monday – Friday – 7:30 am – 12:00 pm

Saturday – 7:30 am – 9:30 am

Sunday – 6:30 am – 9:00 am

We do Food Rescue 7 Days each week - Monday through Sunday.

Monday: Pickup, Cleaning, Processing

Tuesday: Pickup, Processing, Food Distribution 10:30 am – Noon.

Recipients may come each and every week.

Wednesday: Pickup, Processing, Set-Up for Food Distribution(s)

Food Distribution 1st Wednesday evening of each month – 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm (for people who work or go to school, making it impossible to come Thursday
Food Delivery 2nd Wednesday Morning of each month

Thursday: Pickup, Processing, Food Distribution (8:30 am – 11:00 am)

Friday: Pickup, Processing.

Saturday: Pickup, Processing.

Sunday: Pickup, Put Food Away

*Van Drivers and Helpers should be prepared to leave the SPFC by 6:30 am.
